Hop-Frog

A court jester, mocked and abused by a tyrant king and his councilors, plots a retribution as fiery as it is clever. Under the guise of a masquerade, the oppressed entertainer orchestrates a "last jest" that turns the tables on his tormentors. Poe delivers a visceral tale of justice served cold and brutal.
