Bealby

Bealby: A Holiday is a comic novel written by H. G. Wells, first published in 1915. Bealby is a 13 year old boy who rebels against his job of a domestic servant in a 'great house' by running away. During his 'holiday', he meets an actress, a Captain who is determined to return Bealby to the house, and a man who persuades him to take part in a burglary.
